As a global importer, exporter, brand owner and distributor, HBC Trading now imports from over 45 countries and exports to more than 20 countries worldwide. Since launching back in 2005 – HBC continues to scour the globe, seeking out the finest flavours of Asia, the Pacific, Europe, The Middle East and beyond. As a true mark of their diversity, HBC is now Australia’s top supplier and distributor of certified organic products.
HBC holds the exclusive distribution rights for gourmet products such as; the Beerenberg range of jams and relishes from South Australia, Plantin Truffles from Provence in France, and La Tourangelle, France’s finest cooking oil, and our range goes on.
In keeping with their reputation for only trading with the finest – HBC Trading was recently awarded ‘Level A’ accreditation under the BRC (British Retail Consortium), Global Standard. This is the highest achievable international standard in the food ingredient, manufacturing, processing and packaging industries. (This includes HACCP).
Today, HBC’s ever-expanding gourmet product lines includes 1200 items, many of which are Australian certified organic. Among them HBC proudly boats its own homegrown brands; Chef’s Choice, Kura and Lovin’ body.

HBC launched Chefs Choice in 2007 with its signature product - Himalayan pink salt. Since then the Chefs Choice brand has been synonymous with quality, high-end ingredients sought after by chefs and home-cooks the world-over.
Lovin’ body was created for customers who are health conscious and want to implement clean eating. Lovin’ body supports those seeking healthier options and looking to ‘eat themselves well’, through a cleaner diet and a healthier lifestyle.
Kura, in Japanese, translates to a store house or cellar where some of Japan’s traditional ingredients are produced. It is a sacred place where the flavours of Japan are born from. It’s somewhat similar to a brewery, but for fermented Japanese products such as miso, sake, mirin, and soy sauce. We launched our brand, Kura in 2020 as a means to introduce more high-quality Japanese products to an international market base. HBC has its own Japanese chef who carefully tastes, tests, and selects the best products for Kura. We have also created very delicious recipes with the Kura range as well. Australian Certified Organic and stored in our BRC Certified facility for our customers who appreciate high quality and safe food ingredients.
This brand is all about quality. Since the pandemic, quality items have become more difficult to find and are often very expensive. ‘Your choice’ offers quality products at affordable prices. Among these quality products is HBC’s homemade maple syrup.
Ideally located in the heart of the truffle producing region close to the main truffle markets and growers, since it started in business, Maison Plantin has positioned itself as one of the main players in selecting the best truffles in France. The best truffles in Vaucluse, particularly Richerenches and Carpentras truffles are selected by Maison Plantin.
The proud recipient of a time-honored tradition with origins in the Loire Valley of France. Since the Middle Ages, local artisan “Maître Moulinier” (Master Roaster) have mastered the art of roasting and pressing nuts kernels into delicious oils. La Tourangelle is one of these few remaining oil mills keeping this heritage alive in Saumur, France and since 2002, in Woodland, California. We are a family-owned company whose mastery of oil production is the fruit of passion, integrity, and pride.
Maison Godard has been one of the pioneers to ensure a Southwest France origin for her duck and goose foie gras. Maison Godard’s quality commitment gives you the assurance that her foie gras come exclusively from ducks and geese, which are fed with maize by talented “gaveurs” in the South-West of France. In 1999, Maison Godard obtained the so called IGP (Protected Geographic Identification) certification scheme and today it is one of the latest companies in the foie gras industry to still offer exclusively duck foies gras from Southwest France and goose foie gras from the Périgord.
The name Beerenberg means ‘Berry Hill’ in German, a nod to our heritage, our produce and our hillside location. In 1970, our parents, Grant and Carol, made the decision to concentrate solely on growing strawberries. Grant infused traditional farming practices and his deep knowledge of the land with new technology and techniques to produce the most spectacular tasting berries.
Nortindal Sea Products S.L. is the world leader in the manufacture and distribution of cuttlefish ink. Our products includes a range of ready-to-eat sauces, like paella stock and cuttlefish ink sauce. The Cuttlefish ink is ideal for seasoning dishes such as fish, rice, pasta, bread and croquettes. Its characteristic colour, as well as its texture and sea taste, makes our ink something unique within the world of cooking.
Ewald Gelatine is manufactured entirely from the naturally produced raw material pigskin. When purchasing our raw materials we demand the highest quality. All the processing is carried out under the strictest control. The finished product is of the highest quality. it impresses through its clarity, brilliance, lightness and insignificant smell and taste. To supply our customers with this high-quality product, we conduct comprehensive physical, chemical and microbiological controls during the whole production process
